Real Life Care is Hiring a Home Health Aide Near Towson, MD

Responsibilities: - Provide personal care to patients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. - Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety. - Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals. - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature. - Assist with meal preparation and feeding. - Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up. - Provide companionship and emotional support to patients. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records. Experience: - Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or similar role is preferred. - Knowledge of patient care techniques and protocols. - Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures. - Experience working with seniors or individuals requiring assisted living is a plus. - Ability to provide specialized care for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments is desirable. Skills: - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Compassionate and patient-centered approach to caregiving. - Ability to lift and assist patients with mobility needs. - Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and dietary restrictions. - Understanding of home care principles and practices. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $14.55 - $15.38 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
